If you have a hard time giving up your beloved flavored coffee creamers, this recipe will change your life! Try this recipe and you’ll never be tempted to visit that section of the grocery store again.
Seriously, it’s THAT good!
Initially, I found the recipe for the “Trimacino” in the Trim Healthy Mama forum. Check out their site at http://www.trimhealthymama.com. I adapted it by adding in things that I liked to create the flavor I wanted and the result was a healthy peppermint mocha. You can change the flavorings to create whatever you want. Experiment and have fun!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Cup of hot coffee
1 tsp. unsweetened whey protein powder
1 tsp. MCT Oil (watch video for explanation on this ingredient)
1 pinch of glucomannan powder
1 heaping tsp. of raw cacao or cocoa powder
a few drops of peppermint extract
a few drops of vanilla extract
1 tsp. of grass-fed butter (unless you have dairy issues)

Add all of the ingredients to the blender and blend carefully. Check out my video for further instructions and a tip on how to be sure the hot coffee doesn’t cause an explosion in your blender!
